What is Creative Beetroot?

Our Booksets
Developed and run by Jacqueline Sanders, our Mindful Creativity Booksets are aimed at pre-primary, primary and middle school children in schools, as well as for use at home.
Creative Beetroot is a classroom-tested emotional learning curriculum and printable resource program for children ages 3–9. Through storytelling, discussion, and creative arts, we help schools, teachers, and families support children in building emotional awareness, empathy, resilience, confidence, and healthy self-expression.

Our Ethos
We strongly believe that a healthy body goes hand in hand with a healthy mind.
Using storytelling, puppetry, music, theatre and the visual arts have been proven to be a powerful method of helping children express themselves in a healthy way by exploring their inner selves and developing a growth mindset.
Our methods are engaging, fun and non-invasive which encourages a relaxed, safe environment, helping each child freely express themselves.

Why Creative Arts
There are many different types of art therapy that are beneficial to us. Creative Arts is a way for us to somehow express ourselves without fear of judgement.
Everyone of all ages, all backgrounds are capable of creating some form of art. It is engaging on many different levels with interests and our natural curiosity which helps us to learn, grow and see things in different ways.
It is non-threatening, it is fun, positive, and creates a safe environment for all of us to release our emotions and thoughts positively and creatively.
